Bio

My name is James Edmonds and I am very excited to start my 4th year here at Dale County High School! Here is a little information about myself. In 2008, I was fortunate enough to graduate from Ariton High School. While at Ariton I participated in several different activities. I participated in football, basketball, and baseball at the varsity level from 2004-2008. Also while at Ariton I participated in Student Government and was SGA President. After AHS, I attended Troy University where I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Social Science with a minor in Anthropology. This past July, I married my wonderful wife Sydney, who is a Special Education teacher and cheer sponsor at Cottonwood High School. Currently, I am an assistant coach with the Varsity Football team, serving as the offensive coordinator. This will also be my third year as the head coach for the boys varsity basketball program. Also, I coach the Varsity Track and Field team with Coach Moore. I enjoy anything outdoors and I am a huge Troy Trojans fan. Go Trojans and Go DCHS Warriors!
