This is my 12th year at Dale County High School and third year as the Driver Education and Health Science teacher. I am an Ariton High School graduate from the Class of 2008. After high school, I attended Troy University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Science. In college I was very involved on campus. I was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and held several roles on campus, one of them being an IMPACT Leader for Troy's orientation program in the summer of 2011 and being the IMPACT parent director in the summer of 2012. I began coaching at Dale County in August of 2013 and have been at DCHS since. In July of 2017 I married my amazing wife Sydney. Mrs. Edmonds is our at-risk coach at Dale County and also our varsity cheer sponsor. We have been blessed with 2 energetic boys, Rhett, who is 6 and Rush who will be 3 this August. We will also be welcoming a little girl to our family this fall! This will be my tenth year as the head coach for the boys' varsity basketball program. This will be my third year as the varsity golf coach. Also, I am an assistant coach with the football program. The Edmonds family have really enjoyed being a part of this amazing school and community. We are Warriors!
