Sydney Edmonds

At-Risk Counselor /
Varsity Cheer Coach
I am so excited to begin my 5th year in the Dale County School System!
I grew up in Dothan, Alabama where I graduated from Northview High School. After graduation, I pursued a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and graduated from The University of Alabama. ROLL TIDE! After finishing my Bachelors degree, I continued to pursue a Masters degree in Secondary Collaborative Education. This is my eighth year in education and I am excited to be at Dale County High School.
On top of working in the special education department and serving as the At-Risk Counselor, I am also the Varsity Cheerleading Coach. I enjoy the time I spend with our student-athletes and enjoy cheering on our Warriors!!
I am married to James Edmonds, who also teaches and coaches at Dale County High School. We have a six-year-old son, Rhett, a 2-year-old son, Rush, and a baby girl on the way! Coaching athletes and chasing babies keeps us busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way!
GO WARRIORS!
