Bio
My name is Tina Richards. 2023-2024 is my 22nd year in education. I have taught Spanish to kindergarten-5th grade at the elementary level and 7th-12th at the secondary level. I am excited to be sharing the Spanish language and cultures with the students of Dale County High School! I am also the DCHS Yearbook Advisor. I have several years of yearbook experience as well.
I grew up in Dothan and graduated from Dothan High School. I attended the University of Alabama earning my BS in Spanish Education (P-12.) I spent two summers at the University of Southern Mississippi earning my Masters of Arts in the Teaching of Languages. I am married to Chad Richards, and we have 3 children: Gabby - 17, Carter - 15, and Sophie - 12. On the weekends you can find us at a baseball field or a soccer field. In what little free time I have I enjoy photography, reading & travel.
